Never Forget

“Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire??? Yet my people have forgotten Me days without number.” Jeremiah 2:32

I wake up each morning with Jesus on my mind. He is the center of my thoughts all the day long. I talk with him, I walk with Him all day, and He is my last thought before I fall asleep at night. I’m consumed with a love for Him. I can’t imagine living a day without Jesus.

Yet in this world, He is so often forgotten. Someone recently pleaded with me to pray over a situation in her life, asking me several times actually, and of course, I was happy to oblige. I love to see Jesus work in someone’s life! But when He answered and He blessed, He was forgotten. No thanks or honor or glory was given. (On my part, absolutely! I will praise Him daily for all His good works!) But not on theirs. But I have seen this time and again. He’s so good and He blesses so much, yet He is never acknowledged. I see Christians who pass an entire week of never reading their Bibles, never praying, never talking to the One they say they love. I can’t imagine one single day without Jesus!!!

He is my best friend, my constant companion, my faithful Father, my Healer, my Provider, my Strength, my encouragement, my everything! And He loves to hear the sound of my voice. In a world who likes to honor dates, how about we Never Forget the One who gave his ALL for us, the One who gave us Life, the One who gave His to save us from this world of sin? How about we “Never Forget Jesus!!!!”
