I have known this to be true, as long as I have served the Lord. But I also have SEEN this to be true here in Ecuador. One day, a new man visited our church in Talin for the first time. As service was going on, the church really began to pray and worship the Lord, so I walked around and started praying with people. I came to this first time visitor, and since he had no knowledge of how to pray or what to say, I just heard him repeating things like, “Blessed Father, Holy God”. There was no emotion on his face. Nothing supernatural was happening. And yes, our Lord is all of these things. But I leaned in to him and said, “That is all beautiful, but instead, I want you to say the name Jesus!!!!” What happened next was proof of POWER in that name! In that moment, he yelled out “Jesus”, but he couldn’t even get it all out, because Jesus took over! The power of the Lord hit him so strongly, and he began to weep uncontrollably and jump at the same time, and when he was able, he yelled out that name 4 or 5 more times, “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!!!!!” and he felt something that he had never felt before in his whole life!!!! I saw the POWER of that name revealed to that man that day. And it forever changed him. He has been a member of our Talin church ever since, and Jesus has given him a brand new life. And now, because he experienced the power himself, he loves to say that name!! Jesus!! There is power…Hay PODER en el nombre de Jesus!!!!!
