We were called a few days ago to go and pray for a 4 month old baby. When we got there, they told us he had pneumonia, had just been in the hospital for about 5 days, and they finally just brought him home. He was nearly lifeless in his young mother’s arms, so we laid our hands on him and began to call on the name of Jesus. His mother, aunt, and grandmother were all present (his aunt comes to our Puyo church and called us to pray, but the rest of the family does not serve the Lord, and did not even know how to pray or anything about the act taking place.) I prayed that not only would the Lord heal that baby and all sickness leave his body, but that also that family would know that Jesus had done it, that He is God Almighty, and our great Healer!! The mother had tears in her eyes as we ended our prayer! Oh, I was so happy, I knew Jesus had touched her!
Well, 2 days later, at our Thursday night service, the aunt wanted to testify. She said that we had come and prayed for her nephew and the very next day, her mother and sister were completely surprised as that baby boy began to move around, flail his arms playing, wiggle his legs, and smile and coo!!! She said, “The Lord has healed that baby and he is doing great!”
What we didn’t realize was that the miracle was even greater than we knew, as the aunt also told us that night at church, that the doctors had only given that baby maybe 2 hours to live, so his mother just brought him home from the hospital to die, and we happened to go over and pray that very same day. Oh hallelujah!! Jesus had other plans for that baby!!!! His mother and grandmother have been witness to a miracle from the Lord Jesus and the aunt said they will be at church Sunday giving thanks and learning more about this Jesus who has raised their baby back up to life again!
