Adventures and Encounters

“Never pity missionaries; envy them. They are where the real action is
– where life and death, sin and grace, Heaven and Hell converge.” – Robert C. Shannon

Bright and Beautiful

Recently, I was Blessed to be able to provide food and supplies for a dear family in Moretecocha. And that included rubber boots for their precious daughters! Aren’t these sweet little girls absolutely beautiful in their adorable new boots?!

Unwelcome Visitor

I’m always very excited when we have visitors at any of my churches. But this recent visitor at our Puyupungo church was not welcome!! LOL He is called the “X” snake, one of the most venomous in the jungle. Thankfully one of the ladies in the church was able to ‘remove’ him from the premises,

Baby Dedication

The newest member of our Puyo Church is beautiful 2 week old Genesis. What an honor to get to dedicate her and her 2 year old brother, Jhon, to the Lord this past Sunday. Her parents, Bro. Manuel and Sis. Rocio and her older siblings are all faithful members of the church in Puyo. I

God’s Promises

This Beautiful rainbow graced the sky after service recently at Puyupungo Church. It was breathtaking. So bold and beautiful, and almost hovering near the church. I worshipped Jesus as I admired its beauty. And I praised Him that He’s faithful and always keeps His promises! Genesis 9:13 I do set my bow in the clouds

More and More of Jesus

The jungle community of Puyupungo is not on a map. The Church here has no running water, no electricity, no fancy carpet or padded pews. But Jesus is here! And His Presence filled the room as ten-year-old Sammy sang from her heart. With only a tambourine for accompaniment, I cannot imagine any accomplished singer, in
