Adventures and Encounters

“Never pity missionaries; envy them. They are where the real action is

Jesus Loves The Little Children

I met little Maide while delivering food to her community. She is 12 years old and lives in a small room with her mom and siblings. No dad in the picture. She has been abused all of her life. Her story is one that is way too familiar amongst the children in my churches. Every

Singing for Jesus…

We grew up singing together, and yet, it still feels so special each time I get to sing with my siblings. And wow, it was even moreso recently on their visit to Ecuador, as they stood next to me, blending in their beautiful harmonies singing at our Main Church here in Puyo, Pastaza. My heart

What an Amazing Time….

Our AMAZING journey here in Ecuador has come to an end. Thank you to everyone that has followed my posts both here on Susan’s Facebook and Ecuador Missions Facebook. It’s been such a joy having you along with me. I will continue to post a few more pictures and blogs from our time with Susan

Unwanted Visitor

Well, I guess it was bound to happen while we were here. An ‘unwanted visitor’ showed up for service at Puyupungo Church a few days ago. It was a venomous jungle snake. I’m certain this wasn’t the right spirit, but I knew only one of us was coming out of this alive. And until the

Blessings of the Lord

It’s Ann again. Susan has ‘fancy’ outhouses at her jungle churches. The people in the jungle communities do not have such a luxury, as many have no bathroom

Daughter of a King

While visiting the sick one day we stopped in to pray for Sis Sonia in Jatari. She is a widow with five children. Ecuador Missions built this house for her last year. It is a very modest home by American standards. But for this family, it is an incredible Blessing from the Lord. The only

From My Point of View…

Hey, it’s Ann again! We’re over a week into our stay with Susan, so thought I’d share a little more insight into our ‘Mission’ trip thus far. First week was a bit slow going as Aaron Paul, Mom, Dad and myself all got the flu. We then passed it on to Susan. Thankfully we are

God Forgive Me

This is Ann and I am so very honored to be here in Ecuador with my sister, Susan. Her house is a modest one, perhaps ‘lesser than’, by American standards for modern conveniences, but the most beautiful home I know as it is absolutely full of the love and peace of Jesus. My bed here

Happy Anniversary!

What an honor to have my parents here in Ecuador today, on their 59th Anniversary! If you know them, you know what amazing people they are, full of the love of Jesus. They have been the single greatest influence in my walk with the Lord. They are my prayers warriors, my encouragers, my biggest supporters,
